Here at Down Syndrome Indiana, we love celebrating one of the best days of the year, World Down Syndrome Day (March 21st, 2024)! We have several opportunities to celebrate with us, as well as resources you can share with your community!
Community and Family Yard Signs
Down Syndrome Indiana is officially counting down the days until World Down Syndrome Day (March 21st, 2024)! DSI has some great resources and ways you can celebrate both with us and in your own community!

Family Resources
Let us customize a World Down Syndrome Day Poster with your loved one and post around town! Submit requests to garner@dsindiana.org.
Picture requirements: Either standing or sitting with no other people in picture (or only 1 other person). Allow a few weeks for customization. Poster will be emailed to you as a PDF. You can print on 11×17 paper.
Looking for resources to share with elementary students to educate them about Down syndrome for Disability Awareness Month? We have a resource for you! Feel welcome to share this with your students class or with your educator!

We LOVE presenting to community partners and student groups to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day! We have custom school and student group presentations to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day as well as customizable professional presentations for community partners! World Down Syndrome Day Event
Join Down Syndrome Indiana and GiGi’s Playhouse Indianapolis for a rockin’ Dance Party on World Down Syndrome Day! Dance the night away, get pictures on the red carpet, do crafts, enjoy cookies and drinks, and more on Thursday, March 21st, 2024! The event will begin at 6:00 – 6:30 with a Sensory Friendly Dance Party then 6:30 – 8:00 with the WDSD Dance Party!
