June 9 – DSI D.A.D.S. Monthly Meeting

The DSI chapter of Dads Appreciating Down Syndrome will be meeting Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at 6:30 PM at George’s Neighborhood Grill (6935 Lake Plaza Dr, Indianapolis, IN 46220). DSI D.A.D.S. will pick up the check for your meal and the soft drinks. (Alcoholic drinks are available but you pay for those on your own.)

June 13- DSI Lafayette Community Group Playdate

We are planning a Playdate at the Park on June 13th at McCaw Park, located at, 3745 Union St. Lafayette, IN. We will meet there at 10AM and enjoy a relaxing morning at the park with other families from our community. Children can play, parents can connect, and everyone can enjoy time together outdoors. June 19 – DSI East Central at the Splash Pad

We are planning a day at the Splash Pad on Friday, June 19th at the Kathy Dowling Aquatic Center In Greenfield, IN. We will meet there at 11AM, WEATHER PERMITTING, and enjoy a relaxing time with other families from our community. June 20 – Black Family Village Family Fun Day

DSI Black Family Village is hosting a Family Fun Day on Saturday, June 20th, at The Martindale Brightwood Community Development Corporation located at; 2435 Sherman Drive, Indianapolis, IN. 46218 from 2-4PM. There will be games, bounce houses, prizes, music, and arts and crafts. This is a great opportunity for our DSI Black Family Village Community to come together and connect with each other! June 24 – DSI Adult Literacy Roundtable

Join DSI on Wednesday, June 24th for our first Adult Literacy Roundtable from 6:00 – 8:00pm on zoom. At this event, we will share information on the Down syndrome Learning Profile and how it impacts literacy. We will also discuss plans for our Adult Literacy Program and solicit input from you on how the program can best serve your loved one!

June 27 – DSI Baby and Toddler Community Group at the Monon Splash Pad

Join the DSI Baby & Toddler Community Group for a fun-filled playdate at the Westermeier Commons Playground Splash Pad (920 Central Park Dr W, Carmel 46032). Enjoy a morning of play, laughter, and connect with other families. We’d love to see you there! July 11 – DSI Annual Summer Picnic sponsored by FitzMark

Join us at the Down Syndrome Indiana’s Annual Summer Picnic on Saturday, July 11th from 11am – 2pm at Holliday Park (6363 Spring Mill Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46260). Silly Safaris will be there from 12-1PM for a LIVE animal show starring Ranger Rose! This event is free, although we ask you to register so we can plan accordingly with food! *Please bring your own lawn chairs or blankets as picnic table seating will be very limited!

July 18 – DSI Terre Haute Summer Pool Party

We are planning a Summer Pool Party on Saturday, July 18th at the Marshall Community Pool, located at 502 N. 2nd St., Marshall, IL. We will meet there at 12:00PM, INDIANA TIME and enjoy the day together with some fun in the sun! DSI Terre Haute will pay for everyone’s admission as well as concessions. We hope to see you there! July 25 – DSI Baby Sprinkle

New parents (prenatal diagnosis thru 2 years) are invited to our DSI Baby Sprinkle on Saturday, July 25th at 9:00 at the DSI Office – 615 N. Alabama Street, Indianapolis 46204. Enjoy gifts for mom and baby, make new friends, and snack on delicious food!

July 25 – DSI Lafayette Parent’s Night Out

Down Syndrome Indiana Lafayette is inviting you to join us for a special Parent’s Night Out at Walt’s Pub and Grill, located at 1050 Kalberer Road in West Lafayette, on Saturday, July 25th at 6pm! This is an opportunity for parents and caregivers to step away from the daily routines for a bit, connect with others who understand the journey, share stories, enjoy conversation, and simply relax in a supportive and welcoming environment. August 5 – DSI Cuenta Conmigo Monthly Meeting

Cuenta Conmigo es un grupo de apoyo a padres de niños con síndrome de Down en Español. Los temas varían mes con mes. Las reuniones son el primer Miércoles de cada mes de 6 a 8 p.m. en 615 N. Alabama Street, Indianápolis IN 46204. Para mas información contacte cuentaconmigo@dsindiana.org.

Cuenta Conmigo is a Spanish-speaking group for parents who have a child with Down syndrome. The meeting topics focus on a wide range of pertinent information. August 8 – Black Family Village of DSI Summer Wrap Up Party

We are hosting a Summer Wrap Up Party on Saturday, August 8th from 2-4PM at Fredrick Douglas Park, located at 1616 E. 25th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46218. There will be games, food, and music. Whether you are new to our community or have been part of it for years, we’d love you to join us. Come make new connections, strengthen existing friendships, and enjoy the afternoon together! Buddy Walk® Lafayette is a joyful community celebration that honors individuals with Down syndrome while raising awareness and funds to support the mission of Down Syndrome Indiana. Families, friends, and community supporters come together to walk, connect, and celebrate the incredible contributions of individuals with Down syndrome. Funds raised help provide vital programs, education, advocacy, and support for individuals with Down syndrome and their families across Indiana. Join us on September 19th 2026 at 9 AM at Exploration Acres! Whether you create a team, join a team, or simply come to cheer others on, Buddy Walk Lafayette is a powerful day of inclusion, celebration, and community.

Join DSI Black Family Village as we gather at the Indianapolis Buddy Walk on Saturday, October 3rd at the White River State Park. We would like for everyone to meet up at the vendor tent at 9:30A.M.
