Policy & Advocacy
Down Syndrome Indiana is committed to following both statewide and national legislation that would directly impact individuals with Down syndrome and their families. We do this through direct advocacy at the Capitol Building, through our Policy and Advocacy Committee, and through our newly announced Down Syndrome Advocates Committee.

Interested in Getting Involved?
Join a Committee
We encourage caregivers, supporters, and individuals with Down syndrome to use their voice and tell us what matters to them! We have a specific self advocates committee, as well as meeting for caregivers and passionate community advocates.
Advocate
There are several ways to use your voice in your own community, at the state level, and the national level. We offer opportunities for community events at the State Capitol Building, as well as offer mentorship on how to advocate best for your loved one.
