321go!

The 321go! Program is for adults with Down syndrome (18 years and older) who want to learn about and improve their personal health. The program teaches the basics of physical activity, balanced nutrition, and emotional wellness and encourages learners to adopt healthy habits. The foundation of the 321go! program is a set of 3 goals and 21 challenges that encourage a daily focus on overall wellbeing.    This is an 8-week program which meets weekly at the DSI office (615 N. Alabama Street, Indianapolis 46204) twice per year.

Dates/Times: To be announced soon!

Stay tuned for registration information!

We ask that each participant bring a support/accountability partner to participate with them in the program.   This person could be a parent, sibling, relative, or friend who has frequent interaction with the participant with Down syndrome so that they can support healthy decision making and activity throughout the week.   Support/accountability partners will be asked to participate in all the activities during each session in order to support their loved one with Down syndrome.

Down Syndrome Indiana is piloting this program for the National Down Syndrome Society.
